Description |
Rhizome forming a dense turf, with numerous black-brown hairs. Fronds in tufts. Stipe 3-6 cm long, canaliculate, with numerous red hairs. Lamina pinnate, oblong in outline, apex rounded, 4-16 x 2-3 cm; pinna continuous, numerous, horizontal, the lower ones reduced, the middle ones being 1.5 x 0.3-0.4 cm, decurrent in a winged rachis, apex rounded, base wedge-shaped, slightly lobed; rhachis, costae and veins, bearing the same hairs as the stipe; veins forked. Sori often limited to the upper part of the frond; indusia cone-shaped, included, with opening slightly dilated, receptacle exserted. |
